Little Treasures Shadow Box Book

Join Adriene as we create a double-sided hinged wooden shadow box that looks like a book from the outside and is full of memories on the inside. A journal is hidden in the back opening of the book – ready to record all those “secrets.” Create a tribute to someone special using canvas, vintage images of children and coordinating treasures such as mini photo frames, beads, a mini book, vintage theme decorative papers, lace and more. Images will be provided; however, if you wish to use your own, please bring two photos of a child or children to class with you for use in the frames. The images should be approximately 2” wide by 3” tall (you may want to make a reduced color photocopy of your original image). Also, if you'd like to use your own photos for the cover, the picture is approximately 4” wide by 6” tall.

There is a $8 kit fee payable to instructor at class time.

In order to make this an enjoyable class for all, I have prepared kits for each student. It is my hope this method will save you money, time and the frustration of having to purchase all the necessary materials. The kit will include all the materials you need to complete the project including the canvas, mini photo frames, chip board, decorative papers, hinges, paint, images, jacks, marbles, mini wooden book and more.
