Have you ever wished you could get your stamped dominoes to look like tiny hand painted works of art? This class will teach you an untraditional approach to laying color on your dominoes canvases allowing you to achieve the three dimensional depth of a layered collage. The techniques unveiled in this workshop are simple and can be applied to any future project using plastic game pieces. Each student's work will reflect ones individual preference with regard to the intensity of color and images used. While some shout with color and detail others might exude a gentle serenity. My purpose in this workshop is to teach you to acquire this kind of flexible control with your "Domino Art". In addition to mastering control over the surface of your dominoes, you will also learn how to assemble them into a beautiful box complete with brass hinges and closure and mounted on tiny legs. Your finished piece will completely conceal any evidence of dominoes from the outside and will only reveal its true identity when opened. I am confident that your "Domino Box" will find its resting place among your most treasured heirlooms. I hope you will come and join us on this delightful domino journey.

There will be a $15 supply fee payable to instructor at class time which includes dominoes, metal box hinges, dowels for corners, legs or feet of box, gesso, blending tools, 3 different required finishing products, rubber stamps, brushes for applying finish, boards for spraying dominoes, E-poxy for applying hinges, and heat guns.

Supply List: Black Staz-On ink pad (new or freshly inked), Watercolor or Zig pigment markers in 8-12 colors you like, Permanent ink cleaner (I find Judikins brand to be the best), 1 round detail paint brush, A tube of E6000 glue, 1 pkg. 1/8" thick pop-dots or foam mounting tape, Baby wipes, And any stamps of your own you may want to use
