Artistic Glyph Fabric

 Learn to create wonderfully expressive pieces of "complex cloth". We will explore the application of paint, bleach, resist, inks, stencils, and stamps to fabric. Beads, foils, and embellishments are taught to be applied.
You will leave the workshop with an approximately 10" x 10" artistic glyph fabric that can then be used to frame, embellish, collage, create altered books, etc.
Supplies: Sherril Kahn petroglyph stamps, clean-up rags for hands and stamps, Xacto knife and small cutting mat, protective covering for clothes. Latex gloves will be offered.
NOTE: Bleach will be used in this class. Respirator optional.
