Do you like to keep a journal or want to learn how? Don't like writing or feel like you have absolutely "nothing to say"? Try keeping a glue book! Using simple, inexpensive materials which we all have on hand along with some acrylic paints learn how to make your pages "sing and vibrate" with words, thoughts and color without putting pen to paper. Learn how to express yourself using collage and mixed media materials. A Guaranteed new addiction! Come to class and you will some NEW and DIFFERENT mixed media tips, tricks and techniques. Learn not only how to paint and layer your pages but how to collage on them using materials YOU already have at home. A fun, easy and completely new class guaranteed to leave you spilling all over your journal pages with NEW ideas. I will be supplying a plethora of Golden acrylic paints and mediums, rubber stamps and ink pads and a variety of other surprises!
Supply List: Students need to bring to class: Journal, old magazines (Oprah, etc. which you will cut up), junk mail, scissors, bone folder, cork backed metal ruler, brayer, small selection of "personal" collage ephemera: color copied photos, scissors, bone folder, permanent black ink pad (like Memories) and a small favorite selection of collage ephemera, 3 1" foam brushes, 3 brushes to paint with and a container to hold water in.
