Think you know it all about creating Artist Trading Cards? Or are you new to making ATCs (tiny baseball card size handmade pieces of art that people "trade" , share and treasure)? Either way, come on down and learn how to create the ultimate artist trading cards. We will first start off with a unique way of creating our own small deck of ATCs. This class is unlike any other you have ever taken! No one else is teaching it this way!!!! I'm so excited about this class. You will create your own personal deck of ATCs that will be totally unique TO YOU. No other artist can replicate what you will do in this class. We will first start with a variety of mixed media tips, tricks and techniques working on my favorite paper in a LARGE size. We'll explore different and NEW ideas to get colorful backgrounds creating the most amazing and scrumptious pages. Then, we will cut them down to ATC size and start adding collage and even more mixed media madness. It's that cool and easy! You will learn an array of mixed media tips, tricks and methods to creating your own cool and works of art-the techniques are applicable to a variety of mediums to: art journals, altered books, canvas, etc. Come to class to learn all of the tricks of the trade. Extremely detailed handout provided in class.

Supply List:

Students need to bring to class: scissors, bone folder, cork backed metal ruler, brayer, small selection of "personal" collage ephemera, color copied photos, scissors, bone folder, permanent black ink pad (like Memories), container to hold water, 3 1" foam brushes, 3 brushes to paint with and a container to hold water in.
