Create a luscious journal from scratch using gorgeous handmade papers. We will then collage and embellish the front creating a 'faux' metal look around a favorite image. The binding is easy but looks extremely cool! Learn how to create a faux metal look on the front using a special tape!
Supply List: Please bring bone folder, scissors, dried up ball point pen or embossing stylus, xacto & cutting mat and if there is anything personal you'd like to use (if you want to make this book a shrine dedicated to someone, etc...), cork backed metal ruler, small selection of beads and fibers for spine, small selection of "personal" collage ephemera: color copied photos, scissors, bone folder, permanent black ink pad (like Memories) and a small favorite selection of collage ephemera, container to hold water, 3 1" foam brushes, 3 brushes to paint with and container to hold water in.
