"Day of the Dead" Mailart Postcards (perfect for trades!)

Fall's holidays are just around the corner! Learn to creatively “mass produce” 20-30 mixed media Mail Art “Day of the Dead” postcards in only 3 hours, and most of all, have fun! Feel free to bring Day of the Dead or Halloween inspired images such as black and orange wrapping paper, glow in the dark paints and markers, stickers, rubber stamps (particularly those with postage or mail themes), as well as skeletons, bats, etc.- bring your rubber stamp letters if you have them!), copies of photos and spooky ephemera. I will provide the background cardboard for your cards as well as some postage and to/from labels! You will need scissors, your favorite glue (we will be fast and furious- no time to plot or plan- so you need something that sets up fast), and any of your favorite materials (suggested supplies following). I encourage you to bring stamp pads with raised surfaces, wide brushes or brayers– anything to cover large amounts of space. I will bring my Mail Art Collection for added inspiration! Send these to friends and family! Use them as original art trades- but these are so wonderful you probably won't want to give them away! All levels welcome! All participants will receive a mini mail art booklet!
*** Suggested supply list : Please bring your favorite supplies, your favorite glue or bonding agent, brushes for your paints, a jar for water, some rags, as well as collage items (use copies of things that are precious to you). Think Fall , think Halloween , think Day of the Dead , think spooky !) ... just make sure you have a few wet items, and some dry items.
