I am a life long artist with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Humboldt State University and background in photography, collage and encaustic painting. I believe that we are all creative in some way: painting, singing, writing, dancing, cooking, gardening. My job is help students express that creativity using the new techniques they have learned in class. I have been teaching business of art, collage, and encaustic painting classes for over three years now. I have also been featured on AM Northwest, Home and Garden Television and recently released an instructional book called Embracing Encaustic . I am a member of the International Encaustic Artists and the founder of their Portland chapter.
