Jen Osborn is a third generation artist who lives in rural Michigan with her family. She loves blending vintage photographs with new techniques to let you experience a burst of color as fabric and paper are stitched together to create tiny stories to tease your eye and tickle your heart. She loves to work within the mixed-media world, creating collage on canvas, felt or paper, but has recently branched out into handmade books, journals and purses. She has developed a cutting edge technique for manipulating transparency images with fire that has been published in Transparent Art and Somerset Workshop 2. She loves to teach and has been doing so for 3 years both locally and nationally.
