Katie Kendrick lives with her husband, 2 dogs, and cat, on 7 acres along the banks of the Tahuya River in western Washington, surrounded by the Tahuya State Forest. The peaceful beauty of her environment is a constant source of inspiration and nourishment for her creative spirit. Her work has been featured in Cloth Paper Scissors, on the cover of Art and Life, and in several books and magazines. She travels nationwide, teaching classes and workshops on her style of mixed media collage, fabric art, and intuitive painting. She finds art making to be one of the most powerful ways to connect with her innermost nature while at the same time discovering her authentic voice. She enjoys the experimental and intuitive layers of creating, exploring inner and outer worlds simultaneously. Email: joyouslybecoming@earthlink.net |
