Traci Bautista began making clothes, doodling, lettering and doing “artsy” things at a young age. She now combines all of these passions in her vibrantly colored handmade journals and paintings that are layered with rich textures of stained papers, painted sewn fabric, “girlie glam” ink drawings and free style lettering. Her love for art, led her to leave a career in high-tech marketing to pursue her life-long dream of starting a business. Traci is creative director and owner of treiC Designs. She designs, [k ō L L ä J] girlie glam, an eclectic line of hand painted papers, custom invitations and aRt! kits. She teaches at art retreats and private workshops throughout the country. S he lives with her two little Yorkies, “Freedom” and “trei*trei” . Her artwork has been featured in numerous publications, including her book titled Collage Unleashed. She writes a bi-monthly column Creativity Unleashed in Somerset Studio’s Mélange. |
