Beautifully Written: Creating Fine Writing Implements with Polymer Clay

Price: $125

Lisa Pavelka

Participants will learn three polymer clay techniques including mokume gane, mixed media application, and millefiori caning with polymer clay to create and construct a ParkerT style men's ball point pen and a CrossT style ladies slim-line pen. We'll be using high end components and covering the mechanics of assembly. Additional embellishment options and pen styles will be explored. These make excellent gifts or the perfect accompaniment to an altered journal.

Skill level : beginning to advanced polymer clay experience

Supply List:

Pasta machine with a large "C" clamp, (my pasta machine will be available for use when not being used for demonstrations for anyone without a machine that doesn't mind sharing), polymer clay blade, 8" x 8" (or larger) smooth ceramic tile, X-acto type craft knife, black dye based ink pad and baby wipes.
