Assemblage Books

Discover the art of altering a book and creating a small miniature world inside of it! We'll rip, tear, shred, collage and assemble to our heart's delight! There will be SOME materials provided but if you have something 3-D or flat that you'd like to incorporate into an assemblage book, please bring it along. You can email me for an idea list.

Students should bring to class: materials to incorporate into their book (email me at Egorey99@worldnet.att.net for a list of ideas), heavy duty x-acto knife/cutter (with extra blades), black permanent ink pad, Scissors, bone folder and cork back metal ruler if they have them.

Please bring a hardcover book that will hold a piece of 8 1/2 x 11" paper (folded in half) comfortably inside. It can be larger than that but not any smaller, please.

NOTE: Kelly generously provides materials for her workshops including top of the line art supplies from Golden, Newton Winsor and other well known art supply manufacturers, saving you the cost of buying paints, mediums, glazes, etc. Please refer to the individual workshop description for the tools you will need to bring to class.
