Beaded Amulet Bag

Date: Friday, August 22, 2003 9am - 4pm; Saturday, August 23, 9am - 12pm.
Instructor: Roberta Altshuler
Cost: $175

Learn the basics of making your own Amulet Bag. Beaded bag

Instructions in making a bezel to surround a clay face, beading the ruffled top, beading the lavish fringe and stringing a necklace. Additional examples can be seen in the March/April issue of Expression magazine and on my web site www.eragraphics.com in the Gallery section. Some beading experience with seed beads would be helpful but not necessary.

A kit will be provided as part of the fee with everything you need in the way of materials, including a crocheted bag body and polymer clay face. The colors of the beads will be Earth tones.

This is a 9-hour workshop spread over one and one-half days. You will need to bring an embroidery scissors, reading glasses and an Ott light if you have one.

Due to the intense instruction required of this project the class is limited to 12 participants.

Photo illustrative only, your completed project will be your own amulet bag, unique to you and may not look like the photo.
