Christine Adolph

Christine's love of pattern and nature began in her childhood, her earliest memories of creating include making books with discarded wallpaper samples and drawing the flowers from her ocean canyon. She received a B.F.A in Surface Design and Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles and an M.F.A in Textile Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Along with working as a professional Textile Print Designer, Christine has worked as an instructor at Otis College of Art and Design and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) where she also wrote curriculum for the Textile Design department. Currently she has redirected her career toward the gift, home decor and craft market.

Her foil collages appear on the cover of Somerset Studio Jan/Feb 2004 and her "Memories in Stone" project graces the cover of Legacy Summer 2003. Her new "Fresh Flowers" stamp line from Stampington and Company is set to be in stores in 2004.

Residing in her hometown of San Clemente Ca. with her husband and two little girls, Christine enjoys working in her studio and spending time at home with her family.
