Abracadabra – Inkjet Art Dolls!

This is a 6 hour workshop taught over 2 evenings, half on Thursday evening and half on Friday evening.

Learn how to use your inkjet printer to quickly produce bright, colorful fabric and then make it into art dolls.  You will learn how to prepare and print permanent images on cloth, then to embellish the fabric and make different kinds of art dolls.   This two-part workshop (Thursday and Friday evenings) includes lots of tips and tricks for successfully using Bubble Jet Set, and for enhancing the fabrics you print.  The class will make collages and use my inkjet copier to print them onto prepared fabric.  We will fully explore three methods for constructing simple, but very effective art dolls, some using needle and thread, and some with adhesives. You will take home a couple of art dolls as well as full instructions and hands-on experience with processes that you can use at home -- how to make permanent inkjet prints on fabric and magical cloth art dolls.
