Wood Collage Vignettes Thursday

Spread the love and come spend the day creating some wood block collages infused with your spirit. Pull out those paper scraps, photos, beads and findings you’ve been saving and let’s put them to use! Finished piece will be ready to be hung on the wall.

Supplies provided by Instructor:
Small wood blocks
Selection of paints to use

Supply List:
-1 or 2 pieces of wood at least 1/4” inch thick. Look around your home, studio or garage, chances are you may have something that can be repurposed. Size should be at least 5”x5”.
-A couple of paint brushes - small and large
-A water container for washing brushes
-A rag/towel for drying brushes
-A variety of papers, photos for collage
-A small hammer and small nails no longer than 1”
-A small jar of modge podge or acrylic medium of your choice
-Small container of acrylic paint for painting background - color is up to you, I will also have a selection of paints available

Optional:
Embellishment goodies to get the imagination working: gel pens, beads, glitter, sequins, small screws, small washers, buttons, sea shells, stamps, die cuts.....
