Sumptuous colors and textures are the focus of this Whimsical Journal.  The cover boards are layered with texture and then painted.  The texture is further enhanced with metallic finishes.   A simple beaded binding adds to the whimsy.   Eyelet buttons, colorful eyelets and silk ribbons create lush tabs to organize your journal.   A definition is glued to the cover to complete this fabulous book.   A class full of fun color and play.

Drywall tape
Cheesecloth
Various colors of metallic paints
Various colors of Rub-n-Buf

Waxed linen thread

Supply List:
Small jar of matte gel medium
Small bottle of gesso
Pencil
Scissors
Ruler
Awl and a cushion (like a mouse pad)
Two cheap 1” brushes, one for acrylic paint, the other for gesso

Optional:
Gloves
1/8” eyelet setting tools
Hole punch
