Tree-lined Star Book Friday Evening $70
  Jenn Mason 6:30 - 9:30

Student Level: All
Type of Workshop: Project

In this workshop we'll stop to climb trees and look at stars—in an artsy way! We'll be making a variation of a star book with pop-ups and tree silhouettes. In this book you can commemorate five different people, a family of five, five generations of ancestors or five completely unrelated things! The example pictured is five generations of mother and daughter-in-laws. Each page is a study in chiaroscuro (the distribution and contrast of light and shade) as the overlapping layers create drama and a sense of theatrics.
