Learn both Mokumé Gané and Iridescent imprint techniques for polymer clay surface effects. Students will select of their sample sheets to create a dimensional heart pendant with a hollow core. The finished piece is eye-catching and lightweight. We’ll also explore size and shape variations for other types of dimensional hollow forms.

Kit Fee of $12.00 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
6 ounces of clay
Clay foil
Suspension findings

Supplies Provided by Instructor include:
High temp clay adhesive
Ink
Use of teacher’s: texture stamps, cutter forms, border molds, deli sheets, oven, and baby wipes

Supply list:
Clay dedicated pasta machine
Large “c” clamp
Clay blade
X-acto type craft knife
Jewelry pliers (wire cutters, round nose, and flat nose or chain nose pliers)
Acrylic clay rod
Small (4” x 4” or larger) smooth ceramic work tile

Optional:
Magnifying readers
Task lamp
