What do you do with all those ideas in your head? How do approach a creative project? Make a creative IDEA portfolio! You will be lead in a series of jumpstarts to explore creative ways to collect drawings, sketches, thoughts and ideas. Learn how I use ideas boards, collage cut-outs, sketches, thumbnails, research, color swatches, adjective bank my collection of inspiration for art projects. This playful workshop focuses on techniques for collecting and displaying your creative ideas.

Kit Fee of $15 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

Supplies provided by Instructor for student’s use include:
Drawing paper
Pens/markers
Tulip dimensional paint
Freezer paper
Stamps/texture tools
Watercolor sprays
Colored masking tapes
Tags
Color swatches
Freezer paper
Stamps/stencils
Texture tools

Supply List:
Favorite heavy body, fluid acrylic paints & inks
10-15 pieces of misc. found papers (collect from your studio like graph, ledger, sheet music, maps, craft paper, shopping bags, newsprint, ink jet prints)
3 manila folders
A roll of masking tape – any color
List of theme/ideas for projects
Images related to your theme or idea, bring a collection of black & white photocopies of images/writing/line art, photographs, tear out pages from magazines, postcards A favorite magazine
1” foam brush
Pen/Pencil
Scissors
Glue stick
