Petite Vintage Journal
Friday Evening $70Marylin and Tracie Lyn Huskamp 6:30 - 9:30Student Level: All Levels
Type of Workshop: Project
Come spend the evening playing with beautiful fabrics from our personal stash or collection of fibers. Bring along some of your own favorite paper or fabric, ephemera, and trims to create an inspiring and luscious, NO SEW petite vintage journal. In this workshop, you will learn an altered accordion style bookbinding technique, where pages can be added any time, and a NO SEW method for making a unique fabric book cover and pages, along with examining multiple ways to antique fabrics to make interesting backgrounds. By the end of class your petite treasure will be ready for you to compose - perhaps from gathered quotes, photos, memories, and found objects – pages that are heart-felt, and personal.
