Transparent windows, photo inserts and lined insets add a new dimension to this already impressive book.  The multicolor double Coptic binding provides a sturdy spine and compliments the alchemy of ink and paper that transforms text paper to create the cover paper.  While I will be providing some transparent images for you to use, the windows and insets can be customized to hold many different items, like: pressed leaves and flowers, feathers, almost any flattish windows.   I will also be providing Scrabble tiles to use for short words in the lined inset.   This class will open up a world of ideas to use for many books to come.

Kit Fee of $5 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
Pre-cut boards (four pieces)
A variety of colored text papers to use for text block and covers
Needles
Acetate

Supplies provided by Instructor include:
Waxed linen threads
Acetate images
Photocopied images
Scrabble tiles
Ink pads
PVA

Supply List :
Ruler
Awl and cushion (like a mouse pad)
Craft knife and cutting mat
Brush for gluing (inexpensive)
Bone folder

Optional:  
Photocopies of image to use on covers (no larger than 3"w x 6 3/4" h)
Book cradle
Pressed leaves
Flowers
Feathers
Anything flat that you might want to put into a window no larger than 3"w x 6 3/4" h
