Student Level: This class is for students with some experience in mosaics who want to learn a great technique for detailed, exterior, larger and or vertical projects

This is a 12 hour, 2 day workshop taught on Sunday and Monday.

In this more advanced project we learn a great way of creating more detail mosaics using a thin fiberglass mesh. This method is used by artists who want to mosaic a photo, detailed drawing, place a mosaic on an exterior or vertical wall or surface. This is a fun and challenging (and some say easier) way to produce exactly what you want with your tiles and glass. Students will leave their piece completed and ready for installation at home. Students will leave with an almost finished project.

Kit fee of $15 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
The mesh
Choice of pattern
Adhesives
Glass and tiles
A bag of grout to take with you

Supplies provided by Instructor for student’s use include:
Nippers
Cutters
Pliers
Sealants
All other accouterments.
