Metal Transferred Bracelet and Pendant

Sunday Evening
$75

  Jo McQueen 6:30 - 9:30

Student Level: Beginner
Type of Workshop: Project

Make a bracelet or pendant out of an unexpected metal material. You will learn how to make “s” hooks to join the various links, a larger more ornate “s” hook for the clasp and even a “double” jump ring that will never open up on you unexpectedly.

You will make a transfer from either a picture of your choice or receive a sheet of images from the instructor included in the class fee. The bracelet links are approximately 1 ¼ inch by 1 ½ inch, but that is to be determined by you. As shown in one of the pictures, they can also be any shape.

We will prepare the metal, create the transfer, make the cold joins, put a finish on the individual bracelet pieces and you can wear it out of class.

Class fee includes all materials necessary to make your jewelry.

Tool List:
Round nose jewelry pliers (small or medium sizes work best) - at most craft stores
“Cropadile” if you have one for making holes - instructor will have one available to share
