Acrylic Gesso - originally designed as a primer for canvas - is a wonderful medium! In this process class, you will use Gesso to do transfers, make textures, stencil, use it to "age" your collages and more. This class will explore many aspects of this versatile medium. Techniques learned in this class are great for altered books, book covers and collage papers. As time allows, students can build small collages with the papers that they have made. Everyone will leave with a small portfolio of papers - ready for the next project!

 Supply Fee of $20 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
All paints and mediums
Stencils and stamps
Black and White Gesso
Pastels and other media that will be added

Supply List:
A sketch book 11 x 14 or larger to use for paper
Water container
1" golden nylon brush
Heat gun to help dry textures
