Participants will learn the basics of Kumihimo, a Japanese weaving technique. We’ll be working with a variety of fibers to create an intricate design that’s embellished with crystals and pearls. Students will learn how to bind off and cap their pieces to create a bracelet with a crystal toggle closure. Samples of other Kumihimo projects will be on hand to show the variety and versatility of the technique in creating jewelry and fashion accessories.Kit Fee of $20.00 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
