Play the favorite game of the French surrealists of the 1930's "Cadavre Exquis" or Exquisite Body, a game of chance, juxtaposition, and unconscious associations based on a Victorian parlor game. Denise Marie's version of this collaborative collage game has a distinctly 3 dimensional twist. Each member of the group will start by assembling two randomly selected fabric body parts, and then pass it on to another until our exquisite bodies are complete. The focus of this offering explores the collaborative experience, creative spontaneity, and mixed media & collage techniques on fabric during this lively and fun filled class. Everyone leaves with a wonderful collaborative and very memorable art figure.

Kit Fee of $10 payable to instructor at class time includes: All body parts - abstract, geometrical, and realistic, in a wonderful assortment of colors, shapes, and sizes, pva glue, and FabriTac™, needles, embroidery threads, art faces, glitter, small glass marbles, beads, magazines, fiber & collage ephemera, and pre-painted watercolor papers.

a few pieces of trim or ribbon.
