Lynne Perrella

Lynne Perrella is a mixed-media artist, author, graphic designer, and workshop instructor. Her interests include collage, assemblage, one-of-a-kind books, and art journals. She is on the editorial advisory board of Somerset Studio and Legacy , and makes frequent contributions to several paper arts magazines and publications. Her mixed-media artwork has appeared in many books including The Art Doll Chronicles, True Colors, Altered Books, Collage for the Soul, Crafting Personal Shrines , and Quilted Memories, among others. Her first book, Artists' Journals & Sketchbooks, was published by Rockport in March 2004, and her second book will be released in January of 2006. She conducts creativity workshops at various venues in the United States and abroad. Her interest in teaching comes from an enjoyment of sharing the creative sandbox with kindred artists and making mutual discoveries in a supportive and enthusiastic environment. Her collages are exhibited in galleries throughout the Berkshires. She lives in Columbia County , New York , with her husband, John, a hospice nurse. Website: www.lkperrella.com
