Come create my saint ....or yours! A book to collect all of your spirited thoughts! This class will involve building a book from the beginning, with a unique cover shape and unusual surface applications. Learn new techniques and revisit tried and true methods of surface design. You will build the book, decorate the covers and fill the spine with pages. This is a fun, arty project. Students should be able to complete the book in this workshop. Decorating each page may be something you will need to follow through on at your leisure.  Don't be intimidated if you have never constructed a book before, easy and simple ideas are covered in this workshop.

Kit fee of $15 payable to instructor at classtime. Kit includes all that is needed to build your book and more!

metal edge ruler
SHARP exacto knife and a few extra blades
mat
scissors
gel medium
adhesive of choice
bone folder
scoring tool
stazon ink --black
2 or 3 1" foam brushes
large eye embroidery needle or a 3" doll needle
Any color copies of your choice: people. pets. saints.
