Painted Woven Wonders $120

In this mixed media class, students will start by learning some acrylic painting techniques. The paintings will then be cut in to strips, arranged, and woven to form the basis of a multi-level collage. This unique technique makes every painting look great! If the student chooses, images may be combined either within the paintings, or as an integral part of the final collage. Students will receive instructions for the painting techniques in a coil bound book.

A $15 kit fee is payable to instructor at class time.

Supply List:
Cutter (Small fiskars cutter is great!)
Extra thick tacky glue
1” acrylic paint brush
Water container
8x10 canvas board or illustration board
8 pieces 140 lb. Watercolor paper (about 11 x 14”)
