Come participate in creating your own unique fabric, then work with it to construct an art doll! Open up the possibilities in your design endeavors, reacquaint yourself with tried and true techniques, and challenge yourself with surprising new ones! Lot's of fun and experimentation with the process of surface design.
The first half of the workshop will concentrate on creating the fabric, the afternoon session will focus on constructing the doll. Lots of ideas will buzz on creating, color, theme and composition. Each student should be on their way to completing a "painted lady" by the end of the workshop. I will be providing lots of products to play with and each student will receive a "goodie bag" of "stuff" to use in the workshop.
