 A mixed media and printmaking collage, this workshop is geared towards a finished piece of mixed media art. During the day you will learn and play with several art techniques including printmaking (collagraph and monoprint), stenciling, painting and layering. Towards the end of the day you'll have several pieces of printed papers from which you'll create a layered mixed media collage of nature's texture.

Kit fee of $10 payable to instructor at class time includes: mat boards, plexiglass, monoprint ink and paper, plastic containers, additional copy paper, tag board paper

Supply List:
4 - 5 small tubes (assortment of colors) of water based block printmaking ink
4"rubber brayer
paper scissors
multi colored 8.5" x 11" computer/office/copy paper
any heavy textured paper you have at home
artificial or real flat leaves any size
cardstock paper with leaf shape cutouts or nature themed stencils
2 different width paint brushes
apron
disposable gloves
small water spray bottle
1 small bottle of "Elmer's glue"
1-2 big glue sticks
big plastic bag to carry your finished artwork (at least 12" x 16")
paper towels
