There's a Muse in the House $115

For a full day we will emerge from an inspiring guided imagery to construct a flat wood house made magical with collage, stamping, beads, and the whimsy and symbolism of other provided or brought embellishments. Techniques for new creative ideas will be inspired by Jill’s book The Nine Modern Day Muses and a Bodyguard, music will make the day a deeper flow and other surprises are in store.

We will paint, adorn and hide secret messages from the Muses in pre-cut light pine houses with little visual journals for the door. The workshop will result in a project for a wall-hanging that delights all year long. The door is a small visual journal we can complete simply or continue to add to after the workshop is over.

$8 Kit fee payable to instructor at class time includes: pre-cut pine houses, wires, fabric, metal tape, paints, embellishments, sponge brushes, papers, pre-printed messages from the Muses, hand-out, beads, sand paper
