Mortals who Collage with the Muses $95

This full day workshop is both project and process oriented. Using the antics, methods and tricks inspired by the Muses in her popular book, The Nine Modern Day Muses (and a Bodyguard): 10 Guides to Creative Inspiration for Artists, Poets, Lovers and Other Mortals Wanting to Live a Dazzling Existence, Jill Badonsky will introduce three new collage methods designed to assist individuals in breaking through creative blocks and entering new levels of collage ingenuity.

We will learn to release perfectionism, procrastination and delight in kid-like discovery with the fast “Kamikaze” collage.

We will think differently, break rules and increase collage idea resourcefulness about materials and come from a completely different point of view with the “Out of The Box” collage.

Participants will learn to use creative writing and collage together incorporating some of their writing into their collage and some of their collage into their writing in the “Write What’s Left ”collage.

The collages we make will be designed to include reminders about the powerful creativity liberators learned in the workshop and can be displayed and remembered long after the workshop is over.

Materials Kit fee of $5 payable to instructor at class time includes embellishments, cardboard box, creativity reminders, stickers

Teacher will supply stamps, ink pads, selected pictures, hand-outs, sponge brushes, paints, papers, magazines
