This little journal starts with a highly textured cover that is made from acrylic, mixed media techniques. Students will learn a couple of texture techniques and then choose their favorite to make the book cover. The journal is then bound with a simple binding incorporating a thin metallic rod into the spine. This journal is so easy to put together and take apart that you can even use it as a changeable cover, replacing the inside pages as they are filled!
A supply fee of $10 is payable to instructor at class time.
Supply List :
140 lb. Watercolor paper – 4 sheets about 10” x 12 “ (any brand is o.k. as long as it is 140 lb.!)
Paint brush for acrylics about 1” wide.
Water container
Stamps for inside pages if desired (optional)
Everything else will be provided by instructor
