Jill MacKay

Jill MacKay is a versatile designer, author and artist. Working in many mediums with technical proficiencies in sculpture, mosaics, illustration, silversmithing, and more, Jill above all is a self-professed beadaholic and jewelry design junkie. Once known as the jewelry designer for the daytime drama: The Guiding Light and freelancer for Paramount Picture's primetime television show Star Trek: The Next Generation. Jill has been teaching and giving lectures nationwide for over 15 years and has been a self-employed creative for over 22 years. She teaches very few workshops these days as she is busy designing a line of silver jewelry that is being produced in Thailand, (look for it soon at her web site). When she in the classroom or workshop people not only enjoy her hands-on approach to sharing knowledge and technique but find her sense of humor and personality makes for a fun filled workshop. MacKay bends over backward to make sure everyone has a good experience so it is a successful and rewarding for all those involved.
