Get rid of those dull browns and celebrate in bright colors. We will take common paper bags and  make them into a book ready for you to add your personal  memories. After painting these books they will have the strength and texture of canvas.  Lets play using stamps, stencils and collaged images to decorate our pages.  We will alter  the pages, add pages of special papers, design hidden compartments, windows and places for secret messages.  Create tags to honor family members with personal memories .  No prior experience necessary, this class is for all levels. Instructor will provide:

Plastic for windows
Mat board to fit inside your book for cutting
Paper Bags and coils
Sponges and punchnello for painting
Tags
PVA glue
Light modeling paste
Special papers to add for pages

Supply List:

Images to use in your book - Color or black xeroxed copies of personal photos if desired  ( no taller than four inches)
Collage images and small assorted  papers, ribbons, charms
Acrylic paints, your choice of colors
Fine line permanent markers
metallic, gel pens
Tweezers
Scissors ( small paper cutter if you have one )
Glue stick
X-acto knife with NEW blade
Small 6” metal ruler or larger size
