In this Technique/Project workshop: We’ll construct miniature memory alters in a wearable tin. Mixed media layout and embellishment with polymer clay, paper, found objects and much more will be covered in the creation of your own altered style altar. We’ll be working with many concepts including use of molds, photo transfers, surface treatment, miniature collaging, assembly and more.

Instructor will provide the following: Polymer clays, tins, awls, hammers, powders, stamps, inks, leafing, transfer media, embellishments, adhesives, deli sheets, oven, and baby wipes.

Supply List:
Clay dedicated pasta machine with a medium to large “C” clamp
X-acto type craft knife
clay blade (available through most craft stores where polymer clay is sold)
8” x 8” or larger-smooth ceramic tile
scissors
