Hurry hurry step right up! See Mermaid Sal, the terrestrially challenged gal…see Squiddy McSimms whose got tentacles for limbs…and see Muerto Steve, the bone man you can’t believe. Sideshow shrines are coming your way so get ready to create miniature attractions. Using little figurines we are going to transform them into little carnivalesque oddities. We will mix and match various parts and toys to create our freaky fellows and then we will adorn a little stage for them to reside…all this using repurposed items and the process of assemblage.
Supply List:
Sardine Can or Altoid Tin
Tiny toy figurines – i.e. Frozen Charlottes, plastic army men, tin solidiers etc.
Aves Apoxie Sculpt ¼ lbs or more (contact www.avesstudio.com if you have any problem locating this product. They sell direct or will tell you about local suppliers)
Variety of itsy bitsy found objects that might be interesting. Items like watch parts, gears, typewriter parts and other doodads. Look for things that are interesting shapes or designs, but also things that might have symbolic significance to you character.
Paint Brushes (a couple small detail brushes, and some cheap brushes (1/2 inch to 1 inch in size)Wire a couple of different gauges
