My Shrinking World 1 - 4 and continued at 6:30 - 9:30 Thursday Julie Haymaker $140 This workshop is filled.
Student Level: All
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Prerequisite: None
Come join me in taking Shrink Plastic to a new level! We will dome it, bend it, ruffle it and drill it and turn it into a bead. Adding smaller glass beads and findings to our plastic bead will result in a finished piece that resembles a bell flower.
We will create 10 - 12 shrink plastic bell flowers that we’ll wire wrap onto a strong brass bracelet chain. Between the bell flowers we’ll create and intersperse smaller beaded dangles, wire wrapped charms and then finish by adding metal garden theme charms onto the chain resulting in a chunky fantasy garden bracelet that’s unbelievably lightweight!
Design will be stressed in this workshop - using color, size, pattern and texture in a pleasing way. If you have never wire wrapped before, you will learn to do so in this class.
