Create this stunning Argentium sterling silver ring using fusing techniques for wire and granules. Learn how to make small silver and gold granules and fuse them to the ring as well! Skills and techniques taught in this class include: granulation, fusing silver and gold, balling wire ends, ring sizing, torch work, working with Argentium, and finishing techniques using the flex shaft.

Supplies provided by teacher: Solder pads, butane torches, fuel, self-locking tweezers, water bowl, crock pot, craft brushes for flux, copper tongs, flex shafts, flex shaft keys, torches, plastic mallets, metal shears, steel blocks, washers, flush cutters, fine tweezers, charcoal blocks, 3M blue, 3M pink, cut off discs, cup warmers, ring mandrels, ring gauges, small bowls for flux, water, table protection, trash bags, duct tape, extension cords, chasing hammers, hat pins, brass mm gauges, and burn cream

Materials Fee: $25 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

24 gauge round Argentium wire (10”)
22k Gold granulation balls (3 ea)
Small containe
Fine tweezers
Green scrubby
Yellow flux
Cut-off disc

Flat nosed plier
Self-locking tweezers
Small anvil
Permanent marker
Metal shears
Flush cutting wire cutters
Ring mandrel (if you don’t want to share)
Rawhide mallet
Safety glasses
