This is a 9 hour workshop.

Create this whimsical hollow pendant that has a surprise when its door opens! Created in fine silver metal clay, this pendant is fun to wear with only you knowing what’s behind the door. You choose what you want to have pop out when the door opens!
Learn intermediate to advanced skills such as creating a hollow form, swivel clasp, embedding wire, soldering on metal clay, making a hinge, syringe clay work, carving techniques, creating a pop-out on a spring.

Supplies provided by teacher: Extra tools from student supply list, small drill bit 1mm, flex shafts, gloves, tongs, pickle pot, tongs for pickle, self-locking tweezers, rubber blocks, kiln and supplies, water bowl, 6mm flat-top bur, third hand and tweezers, dehydrator, sanding sponges, liver of sulfur, cup for liver of sulfur, snake rollers, distilled water, butane for max torches, torches, trash bag, steel scrapers, spritzers, extension cords, masking tape, duct tape, multi-plugs, texture mats, table protection, steel protective boards, fire extinguisher, and solder stations. Instructor will have metal clay for sale as a convenience for the students.
