Winged Necklace Sunday, March 3 $145 Diane Cook 9:00 - 4:00
Student Level: Beginner - Intermediate
Type of Workshop: Project
The Winged Necklace was actually the first piece of jewelry I designed soon after buying a wonderful wing component from a friend. Now, I’d like to share this very unique focal with you!
Won’t you join me, as I demo how to apply layers of patina, Gilders Paste and another secret ingredient to “enhance” and then seal your “winged” focal.
I will also be sharing one of my most favorite jewelry design techniques, using vintage baubles as a connector, to add to this unique piece, as well as some of my favorite “vintage kissed” links using crystal rondells.
Maybe you’ve been afraid of designing a necklace using an asymmetrical style? This class will definitely help push you thru that block! Come along, as I discuss some fun dangle options, as well as a couple of my favorite closure choices.
