Wax On Friday, March 1 $145 Deryn Mentock 9:00 - 4:00
Student Level: All levels welcome
Type of Workshop: Technique with emphasis on how to complete a focal piece
A truly mixed media jewelry making experience awaits you in this unique workshop. We’ll begin by shaping and texturing a one-of-a-kind soldered bezel, from scratch. This will be filled with warm and wonderful wax. Using a very surprising material, I’ll show you how to create a beautiful cast inclusion for your encaustic jewelry that will add a captivating color and feel. The look is intriguing, with the inclusion emerging mysteriously from the depths of the wax. Texture is the essential feature of these lovely wearable wax focal pieces.
