Have you always wondered about all of the different types of solder there are for you to choose from and which one is best? Then this is a great class for you. In this class you will be given the opportunity to use sheet solder, wire solder, paste solder, and explore copper brazing. You will experiment with the chip, pick, stick and brazing techniques. We will discuss torches, shop set up, and clean up. This is a techniques class; there will be no planned finished project…maybe!
Materials/Kit Fee of $25 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
- all solder samples
- brazing rods
- silver sheet
- copper sheet
- silver wire
- copper wire
- all consumables including but not limited to:
- liver of sulfur
- 0000 steel wool
- sanding sponges
- use of all tools and equipment needed to complete this project
Instructor will provide all tools and equipment needed to complete this project .
