Linda McNulty has been an artist all her life; she received an Associate’s in Fine Art and a B.F.A. in Modern Dance from Columbia College in Chicago. She now lives in Oberlin, Ohio, where she teaches Encaustic Painting, Figurative Sculpting, Resin Casting, and is developing a line of Encaustic Jewelry Kits. She is best known for her figurative sculpture in Susan Lenart Kazmer’s work, and by the students of Oberlin College, who, every winter, try their hand at Encaustic Painting through her teaching and guidance. She loves to laugh, talk about and critique art, especially the beautiful art her students make. Her own colorful website is called Luminous Encaustics, so look for her there, at luminousencaustics.com.
