Artist Bio: Jen Cushman is a natural storyteller who found mixed media art a decade ago and never looked back. She is drawn to the imperfect, the funky, the quirky, the artsy and the authentic: be it people or objects or art.
Jen is the author of Explore, Create, Resinate: Mixed Media Techniques with ICE Resin®, a new book featuring her resin jewelry work. Her book won a Bronze metal in the 2011 IPPY (Independent Book Publishers) national book awards in the Crafts/Hobby category. Jen's art has been published in Belle Armoire Jewelry, Jewelry Affaire, Cloth, Paper, Scissors Gifts Issue, WireWork magazine and the Crafts Channel of Lifetime Television's interactive website. Currently, she writes a marketing column for artists in Belle Armoire Jewelry and the website Create Mixed Media (CreateMixedMedia.com) and is the Director of Education and Marketing for Susan Lenart Kazmer ICE Resin.
