Resin Papers

Resin coated papers have almost limitless uses in mixed media including jewelry, journals, scrapbooking, and home décor items. Techniques and skills covered in the class will include: mixing resin, application of resin to papers, coloration of resin, inclusions and use of resin as an adhesive.

Students should be able to coat the equivalent of several sheets of paper and will leave the class with beautifully transformed papers and a technique for adding color and texture to their own mixed media projects.

Supply fee of $3 payable to instructor at class time includes: the ICE Resin used during the class

Instructor will provide: interesting items to share with the class

Supply/Tool List:

  • Interesting papers of all kinds.
  • Flat cardboard – 3-5 pieces approximately 18” x 12” for “drying” your papers
  • Gallon size food storage bags 5-6
  • Apron
  • Latex gloves – 6-8 pairs
