Miss M's Choker
Thursday $60 CR Radding 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm Student Level: Beginner to Advanced
Type of Workshop: Project
Your choice of 9 focal beads will determine the look of this fun to make necklace; casual for “every day”, or sparkly “night on the town.” To start the necklace, you will learn how to design the pattern for the result you want by combining different types & colors of beads, how to use knot covers, & add a clasp. Three basic steps, the “Base Row”, the “Bead Spacing Row”, & the “Drop Bead Row”, makes this design easy & relatively quick to make.
Optional kit fee of $30 payable to Instructor at class time includes: 9 medium to large focal beads. These will be the main featured beads. May also include sets of 9 smaller beads to string with the larger focal beads, 20 small or medium focal beads, about 95 – 4mm fire polished, faceted beads, about 40 – 3mm fire polished, faceted beads, about 5 grams of Japanese 11º seed beads, 2 clam shell knot covers, sterling silver clasp or toggle, beading thread; Nymo D, or Silamide, 2 beading needles, size 12
